When researching an air ambulance company, many may concern themselves with medical capabilities and overlook the importance of capable, experienced and specialized pilots.
AirLink Ambulance hires pilots and copilots with at least 5,000 hours jet flight and 1,250 hours jet flight experience, respectively.
In addition, our pilots go through a flight physiology training course designed specifically for them by our medical department to be prepared and informed about the medical situations that can occur in the airplane. Also, our crew members participate regularly in Crew Resource Management (CRM) courses. It is very important to us that our pilots and doctors work as an integrated team throughout every transfer.
AirLink Ambulance pilots and are recertified no less than annually by the FAA.
