Guadalajara is home to our corporate office. Our Customer Service Center, Administration Department, most of our aircraft and medical personal are located in Guadalajara. Guadalajara is ideally located as an air ambulance base to better serve you in this region. Guadalajara’s advantages are several:
- Geographic Location: close to most tourist locations on the west coast of Mexico. This allows us to offer response times to a patient’s bedside of 3 hours or less to places like Acapulco, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Mazatlan.
- Several 1st rate hospital facilities: on occasion, our American, Canadian, European, Asian, or South American customer requires a high level care facility immediately for stabilization and treatment. In these cases, our customers will prefer to have the patient moved to the closest availably facility, instead of all the way home. If time is of the essence, even a U.S. border city may be too far away. Our patients can be stabilized, monitored and sometimes fully treated in Guadalajara before completing their trip home. Guadalajara is often preferred over Mexico City because of its smaller size. Although it has the same level of medical care as Mexico City, its size makes a patient and his/her family feel safer and more comfortable in moving around. Plus, AirLink Ambulance personal is here to support and assist a patient and his/her family during their stay.
- A few miles from Ajijic / Chapala: The largest American and Canadian community outside of the U.S. and Canada resides in Chapala and Ajijic.
