From captains to commanders, 4 bars and a goal achieved.

On May 25th, AirLink Ambulance had the honor of participating in Aero Fest Baja 2025, an event dedicated to strengthening the role of women in the aviation industry.
Our captains, Deysi Vazquez, Aurelia Cisneros and Carlos Gómez, Dr. Blanca along with captain Roger, proudly represented our company at a celebration that brought together individuals who share a passion for flying and who recognize the value of every journey within this fascinating sector.
During the opening ceremony, the importance of teamwork and the push for a more equitable industry, with greater opportunities for all, was highlighted. The collaboration of institutions such as the Mexican Navy (SEMAR), the Mexico City Airport Group (GACM), and the civil association Mujeres Por un México con Equidad reinforced this commitment.
At the event, our Chief Pilot, Captain Roger, officially appointed Deysi and Carlos as Commanders, presenting them with their four stripes. These stripes represent more than just a rank, they are a promise to lead with responsibility and excellence. With their leadership, each flight becomes a mission guided by responsibility, professionalism, and trust.

One of the most moving moments of the event was the recognition given to Dr. Blanca García, Captain Aurelia Cisneros, and Captain Deysi Vazquez for being part of the first all-female air ambulance crew. At AirLink, these women stand as shining examples of leadership, inspiration, and dedication, not only within the company but also in their personal lives and among their colleagues.
We also had the pleasure of reconnecting with our colleagues from the MIAA network, reminding us that breaking stereotypes and encouraging greater female participation in this industry is truly inspiring.
