An Air Ambulance is an aircraft that is equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) trained medical transport specialists and portable ALS medical equipment to transport, in tandem with ground ambulances, ill or injured person(s) from medical facility to medical facility, regardless of distance.
What services does Airlink Ambulance provide?
At AirLink Ambulance, we tailor the service to the patient’s particular medical needs. The most common service is complete, worry-free “Bedside-to-Bedside” medical transport. It includes a ground ambulance for transport from the medical facility of origin to the airport, the air ambulance for transport from airport to airport, and ground ambulance for transport from the airport to the medical facility of destination. AirLink Ambulance coordinates all participants an all aspects of transport from beginning to end. AirLink Ambulance also provides medical escort services, ground ambulance services and assistance services.
What type of medical personnel does Airlink provide?
The basic medical staff consists of a physician and a paramedic both specifically trained in Advance Life Support and Air Medicine, experts in the operation of the portable ALS equipment on board our ground and air ambulances, and experts in providing the medical attention necessary during a medical transport.
What type of medical equipment is on board an air ambulance?
All of AirLink Ambulance's aircraft are equipped with certified Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical equipment. Including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, respirator / ventilators with oxygen, pulse oximeters, intubators, oropharyngeal airways, suction units, stretchers, immobilizers, and many other components along with the solutions and medicines needed to guarantee world-class medical support en route
What form of payments does Airlink Ambulance accept?
Credit cards including American Express, Visa, and Master Card , checks with credit card guarantee, cash deposits, funds transfers, and third party financial arrangements including all major insurance companies.
Can family members accompany the patient on board?
Up to two family members can go along with the patient depending on the medical needs of the patient and the specific type of aircraft used for the mission.

AirLink Ambulance has its own fleet of Lear Jets and King Air 90 aircraft, equipment preferred worldwide for air medical service because of its track record for safety, comfort, and efficiency.

Does Airlink Ambulance transport patients internationally?
Yes, we can fly anywhere in the world and have pre-established relationships with major international carriers for Medical Escort Service where the patients medical condition permits.

Does Airlink Ambulance provide transportation for organs?
Yes. We provide organ transport, including the use of outsourced aircraft to assure the quickest possible response depending on geographic location and aircraft positioning.
How many patients can be transported at once?
AirLink Ambulance is one of the few air ambulance providers capable of accommodating two patients in one air medical transport, but the patients’ medical condition must first be evaluated for this option.
